Brugges, Belgium.

This month I decided to go on a christmas break to Brugges in Belgium with my boyfriend. It was sooo cheap to get there because we got a ferry which one 2 for 1 so was around 73 pounds for both of us which includes an overnight ferry stay there and back! Once you get there you also get picked up by the coach and taken into Brugges, we decided to stay an extra night to see as much as possible. Brugges is very pretty and so festive this time of year as it has a massive Christmas market and ice skating rink. We visited Ice Magic as soon as we got there which is an exhibition totally made out of ice which was incredible. We made sure we visited the museum in the town hall just off the square and climbed over 300 steps to the top of the main tower in the square which had amaaaazing views. I ended up buying copious amounts of Belguim chocolate and drank way to much flavoured beer! I had such a good time and it made me feel so Christmassy, I would recommend going to everyone!

Merry Christmas,

60's Pin Up Hair Tutorial

1. Separate hair into a middle parting.
2. Take the top section of each side of the parting and backcomb the roots.
3. Pin back both sections of back brushed hair with bobby pins.
4.  Curl loose hair, I used a Remington curling wand for mine.
Then fix with hair spray :)

Fat Hair "0" Calories Thickening Foam Masque

Samy Fat Hair "0" Calories Thickening Foam Masque: £5.99

When it comes to hair the bigger the better for me and I am always looking for new ways to inject volume into my hair. When I saw this thickening foam masque in superdrug I was slightly sceptical wether a foam masque could actually make your hair thicker! However it was buy one get from free on the fat hair product range so I gave in and bought this along with the volume boosting hairspray. The instructions tell you to massage this into your scalp when in the shower then wash off after 3 minutes. However when I massaged it in it totally seemed to disappear and couldn't feel the product on my hair at all let alone make it feel thicker! I rinsed my hair anyway and towelled dried it. My hair did feel a bit stiffer, as if I hadn't used conditioner on my hair which when blow dryer did lift the roots slightly but not enough for my liking! Overall I don't think this product is worth the money and I won't be re-purchasing but I will definitely be keeping up my search for a volume boosting product that really works!
Has anyone ever found a hair product that thickens and boosts hair volume? I would love to know!

Argan Oil

Tk Maxx: £4.99

Another amazing find in Tk Maxx. This hair oil contains similar if not exactly the same ingredients as cult products like Moroccan hair oil. This is a far cheaper alternative and works amazingly. I absolutely swear by hair oils as they leave my hair so soft after using them you really can tell a difference straight away. I use them on damp hair and work into the ends and it totally improves the condition of my hair instantly.  It is much lighter than others I have used and absorbs into the hair really quickly and doesn't leave it greasy. I would recommend them to anyone and this one is such a bargain!

models own bargain!

TK Maxx: Set of 3 £6.99
Top Turquoise, Nude Beige, Purple Grey.

Couldn't believe it when I was riffling through the back of the beauty section in TK Maxx and came accross numerous sets of 3 models own nail polish's! They retail at £5 each so for £6.99 for all 3 is amazing! The colours I found are so nice and the purple grey is great for autumn. It is worth having a look in Tk Maxx as there were also sets of OPI polish's as well for far cheaper than the retail price.

Naturally Radiant

Superdrug: £2.99

This is a high street alternative of the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, it comes with an exfoliating brightening balm and a muslin cloth. It contains kiwi and mulberry extracts and is enriched with cocoa butter and after just one use my face did look a lot brighter and clearer! The cleanser itself is really thick and feels really creamy on the skin. The muslin cloth isn't as high quality as the more expensive Liz Earle alternative but at £2.99 its definitely good value for money and I definitely recommend it!
